The nearest places for supplies are Frigiliana and Nerja, both a 5 minute drive away.
The whitewashed village of Frigiliana has won prizes for the prettiest Andalusian village on quite a few occasions. It has good restaurants, boutiques and traditional Andalusian charm. Nerja is a bigger town on the coast and is also very attractive with long promenades and miles of beaches and lovely little coves to explore as well as its famous caves. There are also beach bars, tapas bars and some good nightlife.
Nerja is close to the motorway and therefore all other destinations are reached easily. Granada and further on into the skiing areas of the Sierra Nevada is about an hours drives. Malaga Airport is 45 minutes. Between Nerja and Almunecar, 10 - 15 minutes drive away from Casa Leo, there is a nature reserve with a variety of bays and some of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa del Sol.
