Casa Curumbico is a detached holiday home with 3 bedrooms (sleeps 5) and panoramic views. It is located at the foothills of a mountain range defining the valley to the east of Almuñecar. There is a small, quiet, sandy beach within walking distance (about 10 minutes downhill).
The house is a resourcefully built home which protrudes small terraces and gardens in all directions and is surrounded by lush greenery. The owner has planted a vast array of tropical flora and saplings, including bananas, papayas, limes, mandarins, avocados and coffee. At the front of the house, within the property, there is a private car park which also has an abundance of colourful flowering shrubs.
Curumbico Beach, a 10 minute walk down steep stairs, is a hidden place with clean water and sand. Playa la Galera, 5 minutes drive away, is a slightly larger beach with 2 excellent "chiringuitos" (beach restaurants specialising in fish).

One enters the house on the higher level into the living room which has a comfortable seating area, modern TV with international channels (Astra satellite) and an exit to the partially covered lower terrace with views over the bay out to sea and the valley of Taramay.
On the same level at the back of the house there are 2 bedrooms, the larger of 2 bathrooms and a very well equipped and furnished kitchen. The kitchen leads out to the garden where there is a shaded seating area surrounded by greenery - a wonderful place to spend a warm summer day.
The special feature of Casa Curumbico is the tower room, via a staircase, which has a small en suite bathroom and private terrace with valley and sea views. The double bedroom is very cozy and the view is fantastic. Both large bedrooms have air conditioning which functions as quick action heating in the winter. The other rooms are equipped with electric heaters for those rare occasions when it is cold.

Casa Curumbico is not far from the N340 coast road and from there it is an easy journey to the old castle towns of Salobreña and Almuñecar, which are among the most recommended and most traditional resorts of the Costa del Sol.
